5KitchenAid KFP740CR Processor  Nov 22, 2008
I love, love, love this processor! It is really heavy duty, quite nice looking & works like a dream.I use it almost daily.I mostly use the small work bowl, but like having the large capacity for soups & larger volume
foods. You won't regret this purchase for the price on Amazon.

5I'm so glad my son-in-law bought this food processor.  Oct 21, 2008
My son-in-law is a serious cook. He selected this food processor. While visiting my daughter and son-in-law, we have been enjoying using it. When we return home, we'll miss it.

We are cooking Red River Gumbo for a Cookbook Fair. It has collards and pork in it. We ground those using the food processor. My son-in-law loves using it to prepare gyros. This processor really does a fantastic job.

4nice but big & clunky  Oct 11, 2008
This is a nice machine; but it is very heavy & not easy to move around. It does the job very nicely otherwise.

4Everything I was looking for!  Sep 30, 2008
I received this in the mail a few weeks ago. I had been wanting a food processor for a while, being sick of using my previous method of crushing foods, the "culinary hammer" way. (for those of you still without a food processor, it's wrapping your food in a ziploc baggie then taking a small clean hammer to it). This machine works much, much better than that. I would describe myself as an early-twenties, novie-foodie, with a penchant for spanish cuisine. That being said, as someone who is just getting started, I really like this machine. I was used to a tiny, one-cup processor my parents used to avoid washing their cumbersome large machine.

While this machine is larger than what I am used to, it's not really a pain in the butt. The blades work well, its easy to clean. It's fairly intuitive to use if you have ever used a food processor before, but might take some getting used to if you have not. So far, I've used it to make hummus, pico de gallo, potato chips (with the slicer blade), aioli, and to cream butter and sugar together (which, those of you out there without a hand mixer know can be more than difficult). My quality of life (in the kitchen, being a lazy person who likes good food) has greatly improved.

I would recommend this machine. But I'm not the veteran chef who can tell you about blade sharpness-holding, or electrical power or whatnot. I just wanted a machine that had buttons that were easy to clean and had enough power to do what I wanted. I've got that.

Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to wonder how I got on without it.

5Great purchase  Aug 25, 2008
This is the first food processor I have ever purchased and did a lot of research before purchasing this item. It is wonderful, the machine is quiet and sturdy and does an excellent job. The attachments are great and I am so happy with this purchase. I specifically use this to puree vegetables to put in my kids food to make their meals healthier. Overall, five star rating, would highly recommend!
