Out of stock | | | Pinzon's deluxe wine opener effortlessly extracts a cork from any wine bottle in three seconds with simple lever action. Comfortable handles easily clamp onto a bottle's neck; the lever drives the tough worm into the cork with a push and then pulls the cork out cleanly with a simple pull. Releasing the cork involves the same action, only with the handles clamped onto the cork. Ruggedly constructed of zinc alloy with a velvety, silver finish, this Pinzon wine opener has the heft of a high-tech tool. It comes with a squeeze-and-twist foil cutter to strip away the foil covering a cork. Also included is a replacement worm. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the beauty of the wine opener. This Pinzon set is imported. | | | | | |

Great Wine Opener Jul 24, 2008 The reason for the 4 stars is the cheap plastic tray the wine opener came in. The first one was completely shattered, so I ordered another one. The second one came cracked as well - so I gave up on the tray.
The wine opener itself is fabulous! Opens bottles in seconds, requires little to no effort and looks very stylish. Great buy!
photoirguy Jun 11, 2008 Works well, nice material and finish better than some other brands which were cheaply made. The only disappointment is it came in a plain brown shipping cardboard box which was bit poor.
easy cork popper Jun 03, 2008 Works great. My old opener was plastic so it gave a little when squeezed against the side of the bottle. I was concerned that the hard metal sides pressing against the sides of the bottle might crack it so i have been a bit more careful using this.
Their is some rubber padding there but not much.
Good product Apr 23, 2008 My last wine opener finally gave up the ghost after about 300 bottles. I searched around for some reviews to get another good one and came upon the Pinzon. I'm not disappointed. After about 20 bottles, it is still going strong. The key to a good wine opener is metal parts. Make sure the little "ladder" mechanism is metal as well as the corkscrew (both are on the Pinzon). Good price for a very good wine opener.
Pinzon Deluxe Wine Opener with Foil Cutter and Corkscrew Apr 07, 2008 What a terrific product! Do everything you could want a wine opener to do, and do it well: 1) cut the foil; 2) clamp the bottle neck; 3) pierce the entire cork, natural or synthetic, with one swing of the arm; 4) remove cork from the bottle with one reverse swing of the arm; 5) clamp the cork; 6) release the cork with one last swing of the arm. Plus, it's built like the proverbial brick house, of real steel, not plastic that's painted gray. And check out those robust gears. A real winner! One caveat: why is an extra worm provided? Is the worm coated with silicone, perhaps, which will eventually wear out? What happens if you wear out both of them? At this price, I'm not going to worry about it.
