Great knife for the money Oct 28, 2008 This knife is very sharp and comfortable to use. The handle doesn't seem to be the fibrox like the 8" chef's knife, it has a little less "grip" to it, but it shouldn't be a problem even if your hands are a little wet. For $5, I'd definitely recommend this knife. As someone who enjoys cooking, but doesn't want to spend a fortune on her hobby, this line of knives is perfect. They are so much sharper and thinner (but not flimsy) than others I have bought which makes kitchen tasks a breeze. It really makes me want to cook more when I have tools like this that work so well.

Great knives! Aug 04, 2008 I thought this would really be too small for most paring, etc., but it
isn't, and I find that I use it a lot. These Victorinox knives arrive sharp, and they stay sharp. The handles are nice, too, very slip-resistant. Good buy!

Extremely Usefull Tool! Aug 01, 2008 For someone who really gets into cooking, a knife this size gets probably more use than any other. It's just right for detail work like garlic, ginger, etc. I trust the Victorinox brand, I have owned Victorinox knives in one form or another for 30 years. The only ones that I am not still using are ones that I have lost. For the price, I don't know if there's anything out there that would come close to what you're getting with this knife.

A #1 rated knife for $5.00 Jul 17, 2008 Paring knives have their rightful place in your kitchen. This little fella was rated tops on America's test kitchen.

Great knife Jun 21, 2008 This knife has a good feel to it and is very sharp though I would not consider it a "paring" knife. I would recommend it because it's good quality at a great price. (My idea of a paring knife is something a little smaller with a curved handle and blade.)
